Dave Winer recently posted a perspective on some of the Reverend Wright statements about America. I too have a heritage in Judaism. I would extend Dave's analogy to the centuries of persecution "my people" have experienced. If I were to hold each individual responsible for the acts of their fathers, I would have a very limited opportunity to interact in the present.
