If you've had troublr using ustream.tv or stickam.com with your webcam on Ubuntu/Kubuntu, 8.04 with the instructions from Jon Reagan (see item #4).
[I'm using Kubuntu 8.04 with a LogiTech QuickCamChat ]
basically run the following from a console:
sudo apt-get build-dep flashplugin-nonfree
then go install flash from the Adobe site.
Reboot and your camera should show up in the options at either of the above sites.
