Today's News Gang Live returned to the reason for lack of track. As often ensues, circular reasoning abounded. Initially the difficulty and sequential failures by all of the main players to ramp-up realtime track was thrown out for discussion - the technology card. Then the lack of a monetization model for track was blamed. The idea for 'charging' for track was suggested and shot down because micro-payments don't work. The current model of living off venture funding was proposed as 'better' than charging for the service.
